12v dimmer halagen lights

hi all i have 15 12v 50w halagen lights on a dimmer circuit when a light goes and try to change it it will not work i am down to my last 3 lights working can any help

You have probably burned out transformers! Especially if you're changing the lamps and new ones are not working.

where are the transformers. are they on the fitting

Are these recessed lights (sunk into the ceiling)? if so then the transformers will also be in the ceiling and if they have been too close to the lamps the heat alone in enough to burn them out.

I would say get an electrician in and ask him for LED lights, they're very expensive but do away with a lot of problems and are even cheaper in the long run.

are they 1 tx. per fitting or do you have several lamps on a tx.?

i think it must be 1 tx per fitting because only 1 light at a time has been going
