12v Trandformer

Iv come across a faulty transformer. Its a 3 spot track and each indivudual spot clips on to the track. Each spot has its own 50w transformer.

So each spot is technically a box with a 50w lamp on a stalk sticking out. the transformer is small and exposed which then slides inside the box.

I can not find any transformers without a housing which would fit inside. Any ideas on where i can get them? Robo

RS springs to mind, you may have to cut mounting lugs off. You may be able to get a 50VA PCB mount.

Its just a small pcb with all the gubbins soldered to it which slots inside. Is rs the best place for that kinda thing then. or mayb like u said take the shell off ready to install tranny.
