Hi all, RCD test today on multitester,1st ring fine,2nd ring ERROR 4 which is a voltage fault.Voltage was varying from 240 to 285 but couldnt find any problems Any Ideas Please????:confused:

Did you recheck your first test to confirm meter is still OK? Where were you testing the RCD? on the wiring or at the RCD terminals? I.E were you using the plug in lead at an outlet or probes at the RCD.
