Hello I recently got my 17th edition robed outta my van, I'm installing so wall lights in a front garden the flex will be buried in conduit. Normal 1.5mil domestic lightig wire. Do the regs 522.8.10 say I need any more protection?Tom

No if you bury the flex inside a suitable conduit or duct, which provides suitable mechanical protection then you don't need any extra protection.

Does it not need to be earthed conduit? I think 1.5mm slid inside a PVC duct would still require RCD protection for garden lighting and notifying to LABC
