Just thought id help out a few people as i needed.
if your thinking about taking your 17th edition top up heres a few things to help you along the way.

If you passed your 16th Edition BS 7671 after June 2001, then you will only need to do the 1hour / 30 question test (City & Guilds 2382-20).
OR...
Any electrician who qualified before June 2001 will have to do the 2 hour / 60 question test (City & Guilds 2382-10).

Please visit the link below and down load modules 1,2 and 3

17th Edition Wiring Regulations BS7671- Exam Training

:)Hope this helps:)

If you are taking the C&G 2382 go to ElectaCourse Home Study and Distance Learning Courses and Revision and Exam Aids they do an exam simulator that can be set up for either exam. You get the usual bar chart at the end so you can see which sections you are weak at or if you prefer you can print out all the questions and see exactly where you went wrong.

I used it and went from about about 55% to getting 94% in the actual exam.
