hello evryone

i was just wondering if anyone could help answer 2 questions for me

1, how many questions need to be correct in the 17th edition update (30 question) exam

and

2, I am struggling to find the answer to this question in the regs

the maximum measured value for BS EN 60898 16A B type circuit breaker is
a) 2.3 ohms
b)2.87 ohms
c)1.44 ohms
d)2.19 ohms

i have been finding it as b - 2.87 but i have been told the answer is actuallly a - 2.3 but i cannot seem to find this number anywhere in the book. Im i just daft/blind/stupid ???

any help would be sooo much appreciated

Probably a typing error your answer is correct 2.87 page 49 BRB table 41.3

BS 7671 value will be 2.87ohms.

On Site Guide value will be the temperature corrected value of 2.87 - 20% = 2.3ohms.

Go with the BS 7671 value.

Correct me if I am wrong but they are asking for the max measured value (with test meter) which would be 2.3 ohms
ie. 80% of 2.87 to allow for rise in conductor temp under real fault conditions
