Hi I'm 26 and looking for any free trough government or cheap electrical courses in Bournemouth area please. Also this way I'm looking for a job as a sparky's mate only because I haven't got qualification.
Help me please. Thank you.
Mat ;)

I asked several people in Bournemouth jobcentre about funding for the 17th edition upgrade which was ÂŁ205 at the college, but everyone I spoke to (including sending a letter to the manager) said it was too expensive for them to fund, and that was when Labour were in.

All you're likely to get off the jobcentre are box ticking exercises in CV writing, dressing for interviews etc.
You might be able to do the CSCS test at a push.

At the moment I'm doing CSCS got test this Friday but I don't really know where to go next. :(No one want to employ me without 17th or any C&G and on dull can't afford to pay few hundred quid for that. Always been unlucky in life :((( Thank you for answer anyway.;)

Spishake, have you tried Business Link?

They will fund your course with a view to you setting up by yourself, and provide you with marketing and book keeping skills aswell.

Its worth a try and if it gets you your 17th, then its worth trying this.
