i have the training this Saturday and Sunday and the exam on Wednesday.what do you guys think the main parts are i should focus my revision on etc?

Not worrying.
This is the third thread you have posted about your upcoming 2382 no ?

Learn the layout of the book from the contents and heed the advice at the weekend. Job done.

go through the questions. answer them that you can without opening the book. any you're not sure of, flag them. then go back to the flagged ones. use the book. any uncertainties, leave flagged. then, go back to them. anything left when time is running out, guess.

thanks guys im hate the stress from exams lol... as you enter the last question....while your --- grips the seat of the chair....nope only me? haha :)

I always try and do a mock exam before revising,
this will highlight areas you know and those you don't
don't be worried if you get low marks on this dry run this is just a way of identifying your weak points then you can concentrate on reading the parts your not sure of

Anyone with half a brain cell can pass the 17[SUP]th[/SUP].

Why would anyone need to revise for it?
I never revised for the 17th as I was already reading for the 2391 and my thoughts were:
A) I should know the majority of the answers or where to find them its my job!
B) if I don't pass the 17th with the answers in front of me then I don't stand a chance with the 2391!

I was amazed at how stressed the other electricians on the course were on the day, several where there resitting it for the second or third time!

They'll get there eventually.......guesswork can be used with a process of elimination.

I was sent on the course.

The only time I woke up was when the numpty lecturer was on about earthing system and said “we’ll skip over IT systems, you’ll never come across them.”

And yes a lot of the lads were getting wound up by the exam. How in the name of god 3 out of 15 failed is beyond me.

There was 9 of us on our course, 8 passed and 1 failed, 3 of us were in the 90+% 5 in the 80+% and the numpty who had 30 something %, a very easy course, one of the easiest I have ever been at.

Blimey mate when I read your post I thought it meant I, meaning you had failed, gave me quite a shock till I read it again, don't do that to me again.

Agree definitely one of the easiest courses I've done except perhaps an niceic course I did, the final test we were blatantly given the answers and one guy still failed it???????????

Well if you fail it costs them money, so of course they will do everything within the realms of legality to ensure you pass, by the way what was the NICEIC course you did?
