17th Edition update course

Hi chaps, just put my name down for the 17th edition update course starting in september, the course only lasts 3 weeks, one night a week, dunno if its the same down in england, was just wonderin whats everyones views on it. am i right in understanding youve got a multiple choice regs test at the end of it? any helpful advice would be much appreciated, cheers lads

Mate, theres no need to worry with this one, trust me.

As it's the update course the only bits you will be tested on are the differences between the 16th and 17th.

I believe it's around the 60% mark, not sure though.

wen i phoned my college i was advised they run 2 17th edition courses, an update one lasting just 3 nights and a full course lasting a think a few month, since im not long finished my apprenticeship i was advised i would only need to do the update course, then i got thinking, who is the latter course aimed at ? would it be for adult trainees or something?

Anyone who obtained their 16th ed before june 2001 needs to do the full 17th ed course (2hr exam with 60 questions). Or anyone who doesn't have a regs qualification.
