Hi all.

Does anyone know of a venue/company where I can just do the 17th edition update exam without the course?? I don't have the 16th but have been told because I have the C&G 2330 lv2 and lv3, I am already trained to the 17th therefore if I want the extra certificate then I only have to do the update.

Many thanks
Pete

Contact your competent person scheme they should have a list I know from other posts the NICEIC have them but they are few and far between.

Hope that helps and good luck in the exam

Not sure how you can update from the 17th to the 17th?

Or why you would want/need to?

If your 2330 qualification is to the 17th Edition what is the problem?

Personal choice really.

Every job advertised 99% of the time want 2391, 17th edition certificate. If i apply for a job and they ask to see the 17th cert, I will have to explain how its incorporated into my 2330, if another guyapplies and just produces certificates, i believe he will get the upper hand.

Only my opinion.

That may be so but it infuriates me when people ask for this or that without actually knowing what they're asking for!

But I suppose you have to do whatever is best for you.
