Hi, I have a customer whose immersion has stopped working. The system has a receiver for each appliance with a dip switch to set individual times for the heaters to come on during the off peak times. The immersion is fine, the receiver has failed but she has a boost receiver that isn't used which I am hoping to swap but the dip switches are different.
Does anyone out there no the settings of the dip switches? Ever installed this system? It seems to work fine, been installed for 27 years but I can not find any info on it.

Hi,more details are needed, regarding the type of system, and the immersion has either stopped working,or is fine, unless it is the element, which is fine.

There was a system called Electratek I think, which had individual radial circuits for esrs, immersion etc, all fed from a board filled with relays. There was a multi channel timer to control it. The idea was you could have induvidual circuits set to different times. Unfortunately the manufacturer went bust, and so the sysrem was unable to be repaired. Usual answer was to convert to normal economy 7 or remove and change all circuuts to 13amp sockets.

Hi, the immersion and stat are fine. The problem seems to be the receiver that is attached to a dual back box leaving space for a 20amp DP switch to connect the flex into. Each storage rad has one and has its own dip switch setting so you can programme the times they come on and go off during the off peak. They have a 230 supply and it’s on 24/7 but only supplies the rad/immersion when that channel is calling for heat. There’s a keypad control in the kitchen which is wireless showing the times each rad comes on but it doesn’t have the dip switch config which is what I need to check the receiver still works.

Been a while since I've had dealings with one of these. I might still have some details somewhere. Was the maker also called Apollo? If so, the dip switches are not time settings their RF settings. So the sender controls it centrally. You will struggle to repair to be honest. More often it was the SSR which failed, Cant you just make it a conventional again?
