2.5 t&e rating

Hi Everyone
Just a bit of advice please,if 2.5 t&e is rated at approx 27amps,depending on installation method etc,what is it rated when installed as a ring main,thanks in advance guys .

It would not be so much what it is rated at, it is more of what it as to be, and that is 20amps.

Provided whatever erection method you have, as long as the 2,5mm can be rated at 20amps then it can be used with a 32amp protection device, and of course allowing for VD. Reg 433.1.103

i wouldn't like to see a ring main wired in 2.5mm. a ring final, perhaps.
