i intend to change my old switch with a new one. However i dont know how to connect them right. All wires are of the same color! Anyone can advise?
We are controlling the light from only 1 point.

Both switches appear to be 2 gang 1 way, with the Legrand having 2 terminals for each pole.
So copying the position of your illustration of wires, it would go like this:

Looks right!! But why is there a bridge between the two live wires? What happens if i don't bridge?

One live is coming from the supply or previous switch…. the other goes to the next switch in the circuit… if you miss out the bridge, no power will get to the next switch.

A two, three, four etc gang switch is simply made up of individual switches… so there’s no interconnection within the unit between each separate switch. You need to loop the supply from one to the other.

You could try leaving it out and see whatg happens!
Any lights on the looped supply prior to the bridge will continue to work. Any after the bridge, if it's missing, won't work any more!
