L Good evening,

I’m hoping someone might be able to help me with wiring up a dimmer switch.

It’s a 2 gang IR dimmer. One of the modules in the previous switch became faulty so an electrician friend of mine wired up both lights to one module as a temporary fix. I’m a little confused with what goes where in the new switch.

A cluster of cables on the right has 2 brown live wires and 2 blue neutral. The cluster of cables on the left has 1 brown live and 1 blue neutral. I’m wondering why the right side has 2 of each?

Any help would be much appreciated.

As per #3 leave the link between the two in place and separate the two on the far right leaving one in place and move the other to the corresponding terminal of the other switch.
