2 lighting circuits & 1 fan

Hi all,
Ok - I have 2 individually switched lights in a bathroom and 1 extractor fan - I would like to have the extractor fan turning on when either one of the light switches is on. i.e when light switch (a) is turned on Light (A) is on and the fan is ON but light (B) = OFF & when Light (B) is on and the fan is ON but Light (A) = OFF.

so if either switch is on the fan is on, but the other light is off - also if both lights are on the fan is still on.

The usual answers include:
Install 2 fans.
Use one relay per light switch to trigger the fan.
Use double pole light switches, one pole for lighting, one for the fan.

As Handysparks says, there's several methods. Personally I'd use relays.

Thanks for the info - 1st time I have come across DP light switches (lead a very sheltered life) - I take it these are different to intermediate switches???

The header wants changing, OP says 2 lighting circuits... If he has 2 circuit then the DP switching option is not a solution... his following explanation isn't clear if its a common circuit.
