2 phase starter wiring.

Hi, can anyone point me in the right direction for a decent wiring diagram for a 2 phase motor starter. its a lovato BF25 10 contactor and RF38 1800 overload. need to know connections for start button on enclosure as well as a remote stop button. Thanks

I don't have any diagrams, sorry. I understand there is a jumper cable between top and bottom. it was previously set up with L1- yellow phase L2- link to T1 L3- blue phase, then motor coming from T2 and T3. Im happy that this is correct (unless you guys tell me otherwise) I just don't know how to connect the enclosure mounted start button and the remote stop!

When you say 2phase motor starter are you refering to the coil been 400v?... The concept of DOL wiring is usually standard across the many brands with only terminal positions may vary and sometimes the start/stop options are manual actuators rather than contact blocks, if your are adding external remote controls then be careful as this may change the requirements of the nature of the DOL motor starter.

BTW DW, you can get 400/433V single Ph motors.

Yes well aware, although not much call for them and was trying to second guess the OP hence I asked the question, strange thing here is his reply was 3hrs later yet appears before my post ...strange!

Is the "blue phase" actually a neutral and "yellow phase" a live and this all based around a contactor using the three contacts to switch 1ph 230v?
