Have recently had to specify/supply a two way enclosure a couple of times in order to house an RCD or an mcb. Each time they have been cheap (ÂŁ2 or ÂŁ3) but have at the same time been incredibly flimsy and hard work to get sitting right and looking the part. Can anyone recommend a brand of enclosure that might perform better in terms of ease of installation and looking 'credible' as a quality piece of equipment? Price is of course important, but I would rather pay that bit more for something that installs easily and looks good.

The wylex REC2 isolator enclosures are more sturdy than the general run of 2 mod enclosures, but I am not sure if they can be bought without the isolator which does push the price up a lot.
Similarly you could use a shower / external CU or any 2/4 module empty CU enclosure, or use a metal enclosure, for a price.
The MK ones are not bad, (I hate MK so do not like saying this:icon9:)

We've used Gewiss in the past and they've been pretty good. There's an IP44 option like this but if you have space the IP55 4-way version is much better. [ElectriciansForums.net] 2-way enclosure
