how many different ways can you think of for 2 way lighting i thaught nothing could get me but a 2 way system got me today.
they said it worked before i replaced switches i think they talk **** unless there is jb in roof.

i tryed everything and think there are only 3 simple ways but only 3 core going in each switch hoe hard would that be.

There are many ways to skin a cat! I have used the junction box method before, if the switch drops are tight conduit and you can only get a single cable down, it's quite useful, if the JB can be located somewhere accessible for inspection, of course. Haven't seen this method in books, probably because best practise is to avoid JBs wherever possible but with a couple of extra connectors I reckon you could even squeeze the whole junction into a ceiling rose.
