2 x Megaflo's & 3 x Boilers

I have a heating job to do and the spec is 2 x Megaflo tanks (1 for ground floor and 1 for the first floor), There will be 3 boilers also, it was going to be one boiler per floor as per the megaflo's and one as a back up, Now its all 3 boilers will be in use and will be rotated round every 6 months.....

There is also 2 x Wireless room stats (1 for ground floor and 1 for the first floor),

This kind of set up is new to me but ive been told that you see it in schools, collages and hospitals...


Anyone have any idea as to how this will all be connected? the plumber says he's seen a big panel in the past switching all this lot round....

What do you think?

The plumber may be correct, there may be a specialised BMS panel involved with this setup.

Cant really see another way of controlling it TBH.
 
I've used heamiser before......I see if I can find a pic of the panel I did with the heamiser on it.
 
This is the one I did, on a 24 bed nursing home.

The heamiser controlled the panel components which in turn controlled boilers, pumps valves etc.
 
Looks like theres alot going on there... So would just the heatmiser plus not be enough for the job to do what i want?
 
I'm not 100% sure the heamise by itself will control the pumps, valves, boilers etc by itself, the one on the panel switches various relays & contactors etc.

Would be worth e-mailing the manufacturer for a detailed PDF spec on what it is able to control directly. It may be that the will only guarantee their own brand of equipment such as stats etc.

your megaflow is it underfloor heating? if so and its a concrete slab you need to limit the flow of water to 55 degrees c max and the first time you send heat around the circuit you need to rais the temperature by 2-4 degrees each day to prevent cracking the floor
