Sorry SK haven't seen it. I'm going down there for the day so wouldn't mind meeting up later if we don't get corralled by the powers that be.

No. we're at the wrong end of the country so we'd need to take 2 days out but I'm going to write to my MP again this weekend and make sure he knows about the 22nd as well as the impact this is having on our business.

Nearly three days. Leaving Monday afternoon, returning Wednesday Morning. Edinburgh-London-Edinburgh. Understand the difficulty but business or no business. The more I hear the more I know we have to keep fighting all the way. Nil Iligitimus carborundum!!

Got a signed press release (letter) from Gregory via my MP. I may frame it.

I also have lots of work but know that I have to attend as letter writing only results in my receiving the same letter(s) as you from my MP. I don't expect to us to win but we have to try.

I heard yesterday from a very reliable source who had also confirmed the fit reduction, that due to pressure the government are having a change of heart. They will announce an extension till the end of March but not till the consultation period has ended which is the end of December so there will be a gap in between. One of our main suppliers is currently ordering ten containers of kit on the back of the rumour. Don't want to say who just in case it's complete tosh but fingers crossed.
