2330 202 Exam

Hi all, first post!

I've just started an apprenticeship and have passed my 201 exam. I have went back to college for my second block and have my 202 exam. Unfortunately I got swine flu the week of revision and missed it. I still sat my exam but failed by a few marks. I re-sat today with several others and I was the only one who failed...again by a few marks. Can anyone give me any tips because I am really upset about it and can't stop thinking about it.

hi mate im doing the 2330 202 unit at college myself and i study by obviously reading the books but also testing myself on websites such as swindon massive and smart screen as they have online tests on there
i usually test myself at least once a week just to keep myself ready for the exam

Buy the book "Electrical Installation Level 2 2330 Technical Certificate" its by Heinemann and its ISBN is 978-0-435401-09-2

It shadows the course and is an invaluable book, It will cost you £25 max, I bought it and got distinctions in my 202/203, Im not sounding big headed here but i think i would of got credits anyway but there was a young lad in the class who failed both his 202/203 twice and i lent him the book and told him "study the sections for those exams and give it my back when you pass", he has now credits in both.

I got Electrical Installation Level 2 2330 Technical Certificate" its by Heinemann and its ISBN is 978-0-435401-09-2

& Basic Electrical Installtion Level 2 2330 Technical Certificate Trevor Linsley. I think this is the best book in my opinion since I think the layout & format in book is very easy to follow & understand. but both books are good to use for revision.

yep i got both his basic & Advanced books and the 2 calculations as well on my PC which ive been reading and copying things down to remember they are really good books to have

Well I passed the 2330 level 2 202

But the questions I got had seem to be which formula is which etc rather than working out calculation. Anyways onto Building Structures

Anyways good luck with you're exam pod17 am sure you will pass it 2nd time around m8

hello pod17, welcome to the forum. theres plenty of experienced sparks on here happy to answer any questions. follow the advice given above and try some past papers you can search for on here. dont beat yourself up, no employer will ever ask what grade did you get for your exams, only that you haave passed. some parts of the course are harder than others to get your head around and just need a few hours dedicated to them. good luck
