Hello
I have managed to pass the first 3 theory tests including the 204 theory exam, I am worried about the practical exam though. I have got to test the fitting using a multimeter and answer a few question on some extractor fans on a 3 phase system. One of the questions is about why there is more current or voltage running through the fitting than what is coming in the supply. i think it's something to do with the ballast holding charge? The tutors also told me I need to know about power factor with these three fans running on a 3 phase supply and you have to explain why the load changes or something like that. If anyone has experience on this could you please give me a little insight? I thought I had all the theory out the way then they throw this at you. I am not in the trade so I find all the testing bit very difficult etc
