2330 206 Exam

I have my 206 exam tomorrow (At least I think its 206). There is a fuse board and metal trunking above on the wall and an isolator below. I have to install an armoured from the isolator to the fuse board, fit 3 sockets and a spur, 2 light switches (2 way), and 2 lights through conduit and test it. From this information I am hoping someone can figure if its 206 or not.

A few things, after being sacked a while ago others have an edge over me. I'm not so good at testing but I think I can do that, I have no idea how to test the armoured though. I have never touched a fuse board so anyone able to give me any pointers there? Also when I bend conduit I have to do a 90 bend and a dog leg, but the dog leg is always ****ed from the 90 so anyone able to give me any help there?

It is the 206.

On my 206 I wasn't asked to test the supply to the CU. My 206 consisted of R1+R2, continuity of ring final conductors and IR. Polarity was verified with R1+R2.

It's plastic conduit I presume? If so do the 90deg first, then gently form the dogleg. If you have to, do it bit by bit until it's lining up properly. As for in the CU, make sure you leave plenty of length on the cables!

You can use your own tools. My college had the adjustable wire strippers; I hate them so brought my own sized-type ones. With everything, just take your time and remember - it's not as difficult as you think!
