2330 303 exam.

hi guys.has anyone taken this exam yet? I've got mine on the 10th of june and haven't got a clue what's what. cut a very long story short my college is useless and so are it's tutors (when they can be bothered to turn up). i need help big time.

Got mine on the first of june, got a few past papers could email them. All about fault finding, gathering info,repair or replace, and factors considering shut down of supply.

I have got my 303 exam in June as well. Our class has been told what areas to revise on.

It seems that it is the same exam as you hav got about fault finding, well the written paper to go with the practical exam.

Would it be possible if you could email across the past papers you have? It would be greatly appreciated.

Hi guys, I did my 303 on Tuesday. This is what I can remember...

List operating voltages for selv, sodium lighting, 3 phase motor

State three considerations to be taken into account when rectifying a fault in a busy work area

State three factors which may affect carrying our repair work on an installation which is in use (very similar questions I know)

There was a simple lighting circuit diagram with three faults on it which you must identify

There was a more complex circuit diagram of a 2 way with intermediate lighting circuit and three roses, again there were 3 faults to identify

Name the three forms which would be completed upon completion of a periodic inspection , state who determines the length of time between inspections, who completes the paperwork, and to whom the paperwork should be given

There was a schedule of test results with 3 departures from 7671 which must be identified

for a Ze test:
state why the circuit must be isolated
state the reason for disconnecting the main earth
i can't remember the third...

If I can remember any more i'll add them on, I expect this post will be deleted pretty quick but i hope its of use to someone.

All in all the paper I had could not have been easier. It was paper 'Revision F' and I am aware some of the other papers are much, much harder as I have seen a couple on the quiet. I guess its pot luck which one you'll get. For mine I didn'y use a calculator once, nor did I need my on site guide, all I used was my regs.
