Was wondering if anyones done the 302 & 303 written exams? Was wondering whats best to revise,
been given alot of practice questions and answers from college but wanted to know what else to study for it?

Hi, foster23, 302- 16 question underpinning knowledge, mainly on test and inspection, but will also include some general questions, such as supply and distrubution voltages, building structure, 303 is the same but more on the faultfinding side, just try and have a good allround knowledge base, good luck.

most important things to revise are the forms of completion as in when you use them, stuff about who sets the date for a periodic inspection. you wanna know how to spot poor results within the test sequence such as less the 1M ohm insulation resistance you wanna know how to spot poor r1 and r2 values. most importantly you wanna show you understand specific test instrument detail such as what a voltage indicating device should be in occordance with gn3 and gs38 also you should know safe isolation like the back of your hand. hope this helps
