2330 level 301 exam

hi all i have got my exam in 5weeks and was wondering if anyone know the break down of this exam so i can read up on the right bits

Hi Chris,

Recently took my 301 exam and from what i remember there was quite a few difficult questions on motors, came across the following from another forum which you might find helpful (although is dated January 2008 so not sure how relevant it still is):

The following is a list of categories and the amount of questions you will be asked:

1 Comply with Statutory Regulations and organisational requirements 7

2 Apply safe working practices and follow accident and emergency procedures 6

3 Work effectively and develop competences 3

4 Understand the functions of electrical components 8

5 Understand electrical supply systems, protection and earthing 8

6 Understand the functions of electrical machines and motors 8

So there are only 8 questions about motors in total, seems like loads when you are taking it I am sure.
