2330 Two way strapper method

Hello All,
I'm about half way through my 2330 level to in which i am about to start the 2 way strapper method. As the paperwork is very vague as is the information i am getting of my tutor's i was wondering if anyone could help me out.

I would like to know the full method and also what materials i will need for the job.

I know this sound's very basic but i've never really done any electrical work before this course and i'd rather get all the information i can about all the work i carry out.

Are you wiring in singles or PVC/PVC twin/3 core?

the cpc is not shown chris but im sure you know you would be using one. if your still unsure just ask away. hope they help.

I used these diagrams to help me when I did 2330 L2. Kept them in a folder and referred to them if required, it doesn't take long until it becomes second nature.

I think i remember being told i'll be using twin core and earth, does that sound right?

The circuit diagrams the other lads have posted should sort you right out! Wish I'd had drawings like that when I was learning them!!!!

Cheers Phil you have helped me out me abit, the above picture is showing just the strapper cable not the twin or the 3 core and earth i have already fitted? but im still confuesd as to what cable i will be using for the strapper.

Also what does the strapper actually do? I just want to understand everything i am doing.

no you don`t sound like a numpty at all. have a look at the site i am going to link you too and hopefully it will make sense when you see it working. pop a question back on after you see it if you still don`t understand it
