Does anyone know how long it takes 'on average to complete' the 2356 NVQ L3. I want to get registered before the cut of date in december this year but have not found any work as of yet. I understand that the time varys depending on the individual etc and can take up to 3 years in some cases but from what I can gather if I register in decemeber this year I'd only have 2 years to find work and get the NVQ 3 finished. My mate did it in 6 months but he's been in the trade for years, does anyone know how long it takes, ON AVERAGE, and can you register before finding work, I know you cant start it without being in a job but can you at least 'register'. Ive had a good look round the tinternet and cant find any answers, I hope you can help me

Cheers

if i put my head in gear i would have knocked it out in 5 months!! however i got drunk and enjoyed fornicating with the other half alongside working full time and i dragged it out for 11 months...!!

Cheers for the reply mate, I was expecting that to be honest, I've just finsihed my 2330 level 3 and am keen to find work asap so I can start my NVQ L3, the cut of date for 'registration' is dec 31st this year, do you know if I can register before finding work and still looking ? . I just dont like the idea of the last 2 years being for nothing and having to do the new 2357 from scratch, surely if I cant do my NVQ 3 this time round I 'll be able to carry my 2330 quals over to the 2357, surely ? ?
