Hi, I'm looking for some advice

I'm going to be applying for the ECS JIB card. I have worked for the same employer (and served my apprenticeship there) for over 13 years. Based on my qualifications listed below, could someone please advise me as to what I would be graded as?

I am aware I have to complete the ECS Health and Safety course.

City & Guilds Electrical Installation Theory Part 1 2360

Achievement Measurement 1 (AM1)

City & Guilds Knowledge of Electrical Installation Engineering 2351 (is this equivalent to the City & Guilds Electrical Installation Theory Part 2 2360?)

City & Guilds NVQ Level 3 Installing and Commissioning Electrotechnical Systems 2355

(Have not done AM2 and 2391 Test and Inspect)

Last year I completed Requirements for Electrical Installations Level 3 2382-10

Thanks very much for your time

ok Lenny thanks for the responce what about this ??

City & Guilds Knowledge of Electrical Installation Engineering 2351 (is this equivalent to the City & Guilds Electrical Installation Theory Part 2 2360?)

and iam right in saying there is no need to do the am2 if you have an nvq 3 just the 2391??? for approved thanks again

I think the 2351 came in between the 2360 and the 2330. It only lasted a year as there were a few issues with delivering it or something.

Did you do the whole 2351 course or just part of it???

Also you dont need the AM2 to gain approved status, NVQ 3 & 2391 yes.

The 2351 is mentioned here and here

Seems you are good for "electrician grading then.

The 2351 is your underpinning knowledge, & NVQ3 & 17th Ed.

As you said, do the ECS test and you are ready to apply.

TBH I dont know mate, it seems to be all there.

I know with my 2360 I had about 3 or 4 certs for part 1 and 3 or 4 for part 2 plus course C etc. We also had 2 assignments but I dont know if these were part of the 2351.

Maybe someone else with the 2351 could comment.

Eight units make up 2351.

Can look up the units for you if you want.
