2377 PAT Testing Quick Question

Hi,

Has anyone actually tried this software ? or tried any software from them !?
City and Guilds 2377 PAT Testing GOLA Exam Simulator Past Papers Questions and Answers

I am not sure if this is a legit website or not. I will be taking an exam very soon so thought I give it a go but
not sure about the authenticity of the website and their claim.

Plus I couldn't find any samples exams anywhere.

Seems like alot of money.

Remember the exam is open book and as long as you do your preperation you get plenty of time to look up the answer in the code of practice.

Everything about PAT testing (or rather II&TEE) seems to be about making money - the customer is paying for a service which could realistically be done away with with a bit of 'common sense', you have to pay for test equipment, insurance, advertising, the book, the course, and now someone wants you to fork out 20 quid for a tool to help you pass a test where you take the answers in with you.
It seems everyone is trying to jump in on the PAT testing bandwagon and screw as much money out of it as they can, like that salesman guy who wanted people to pay him to outsource the work to some cowboy.

I think I'd be happier investing the £20 in the pub.

If you're that worried about passing I suppose you could ask your college to lend you some past papers to practice on for free.

It's a hour long exam. You have time to sit and read the COP from cover to cover and find the answers.

Sat mine last week did the 2377 100 45 questions and 2377 200 30 questions, 2 and half hour exam did both in 45 minutes and only had 4 answers wrong

Sorry to come in late:

1. don't buy this product
2. if you need help revising for the PAT Testing exam then you really don't have the knowledge to do the job
3. Most people do a 2 day course with the exam at the end of it - that's all you need
4. The exam is open book, when I did it I was finished in less than 30 mins and got 100%
5. The product is expensive for what it is; want to know more about PAT Testing - google it!
