I dont know if I have posted on the right section here but here goes anyway. I got my 2382-12 exam coming up I have a vague idea on what the exams about, something along the lines of whats the difference between 16th and 17th edition?

I bought a book thinking it was 2382-12 city & guilds book but turns out that I did not notice that I was buying the 2382-10 book, do you think I should still use that to study from to give some sort of an indication of what I need to do?

Can anyone tell me anything about the exam? experiences or tips?

thanks in advance guys.

2382-10 book will give you the information you need to pass 2382-12.
Have a look at the city and guilds website to find out more about the exam and its structure, if you search for 2382-12 and go to the documents tab the structure and specification of the exam are detailed there.
If you are familiar with where things are in the BGB then you should be OK with the exam.

Search the forum and google for some old test papers and practice them till you get about 90% mark.Should not have a problem to pass it then. All the questions I got was still from the red book anyway.

I take it you have bought the 2382-10 exam success book. If you have then yes it is still relevant. the only difference is that the some of the answers are in a different place in the Green Regs Book, from where they are in the red one, and this exam success book was written for the red version. So just be aware of that, as you may answer the question correctly, but the answer may not be on the stated page.

Cheers..........Howard

Do some of the free online tests. Get used to using the book. After doing this I passed mine easy enough.
