Can anyone reccomend a training provider for the 2391-10, 4 day intense course in the south wales area ? .....is it hard ? do you recomend doing the course over a longer period ? will i be able to pass with only 4 days training /?

Look at the pass rate 30 - 40% so its hard. I did the four day course and its fine, put a couple of months in the books before you sit the exam as there is a lot to take in. Lots of providers out there just pick a local one as they have to follow C & G , ask them about the pass rate at the training provider. Good luck.

i can`t recommend a provider however on the other question you asked is it hard? everyone will have different opinions on this. it really depends on your experience previous learning etc. i personally found it easy and was too busy to study for the writen apart from the night before the exam but i certainly would not advise anyone else to do that. it really depends how hard you hit gn3 as to what you get out of the exam. everyone has the chance of passing it and to be honest if you have a good understanding of it and you put the effort in there is no reason why you should not pass. good luck with it :D

I started the 2391 last Wednesday and lets just say im really glad im only doing it at a 1 day a week pace cause there is a hell of a lot to take in before the March 10th Exam (iv'e been re-reading chapter 1 & 2 of GN3 every other day) as per tutor instruction but it still feels like it's just not sinking in lol. I just had a quick look at my first practice paper and could probably get 95 marks out of the possible 150 at this moment which would mean a Fail as you need to get at least 98 marks to hit the 65% Pass mark.

don`t worry too much about it not sinking in as it will be and all of a sudden the penny will drop. fault loop diagrams one to nail make sure you can do them all, the terminology any calcs. the first section is fairly straight forward so you should get some easy marks on that one. good luck with it :) don`t forget to post when you pass

Cheers Phil I bought the Exam success book last week but the last 20 pages are a repeat of the last 20 pages before that so I gotta get it replaced lol

Im confident of being able to do the Fault Loop paths for each system . and Fairly confident of the correct Terminology. and it says in the Exam book that the Calc answers dont have to be correct but you have to Demonstrate the Correct use of Formula for said Calcs
