hi guys, anybody got any past papers for the 2391-20 designing exam or know where i can get hold of some? would e much appreciated as i am thinking of booking it for the 15th of november. thanks :)

The most recent ones I've seen have been heavily on the verification side of things, almost like a 2391-10.

I'd advise you to brush up on drawing complete fault loop paths for all the earthing systems as these nearly always crop up and be on board with general circuit design calcs.

Well speaking to the guys who came through the June exam, lots didn't finish as there just wasn't enough time to get through it all.

Best to have a good working knowledge of the books before hand. The course should teach you where you need to look anyway.

Should always be 5 questions for Design, 2 for Selection and erection of equipment and 3 on Inspection and testing if you look at the City & Guilds information.

Good thing if you already have the 2391-10 you don't have to do the practical as I did many moons ago, might have changed now though.

The exam is open book but you need to know most of it as the time goes really quickly. What I found the most challenging is the project mine was a church and all MICC stuff, but again this was a few years back.

Still the case. The practical need only be done once.

I would agree with you that the Project is the biggest headache. Didn't think the written exam was too bad.
