2391/ 20 which i believe used to be the 2400?
qualification missing from my file, anyone done this one and got any further info on it?

It's definitely a worthwhile course. It deals with the implications of the Regulations on the Design, and Verification that the installation complied with the Design etc.

If you've done 2391-10 Inspection, Testing and Certification then you're halfway there.

yeah 2391 is done along with all other certs but this one is missing so just looking into it now but cant seem to find a local college that provides it

Not many places seem to run it. Over here Belfast Tech was the only place that I could find which runs it, but they do it one night a week over the course of a year so personally I went over to England to do it.

Not sure whereabouts you're based but I can recommend Technical Training Solutions in Rochester in Kent.

I think it's a great course and am glad I did it. It gives you a greater, more rounded understanding of why we do things the way we do, calcs, factors used in calcs, other non electrical influences etc, gives you an insight to think outside the box and engineer your own solutions.

This is the problem I found......my local college very rarely run it. Just keep phoning once a month, they may come up with a start date.
