2391 College exam cock up !!!

I am due (was due) to be sitting my written exam for 2391 tomorrow.

I took a week off work to study. I today received a phonecall from college to tell me that due to some sort of internal college admin cock up, nobody at our college has been put forward to take the exam.

We now have have to wait to February to sit the exam - but I am ready for it now !!!!

When you only get 20 days holiday a year, wasting a week off is a big deal.

When i did mine in march the college messed up and didnt register me and they had to pay an additional fee to city and guilds.I was in the room doing the test and found out at the end of the test i wasn't registered wasn't happy.But luckily was sorted out for me.
If you are really that desperate to do it phone the college tomorrow and suggest about the extra fee for late entries and you might get lucky.

Unfortunatey it's not that simple. The college hasn't registered anybody !

So there will be no papers being delivered to the college regardless of any late entrance fees being paid or not.

I really am desperate to do it though. I am registered as a C&G candidate just not been entered for the exam. College told me that I may be able to pay a late fee to another college and sit it there. I've rung around 4 or 5 places and they wouldn't entertain the idea with such late notice.

February 11th it is then.

i did have a similar thing when i sat mine in2004 passed the written but the practical was not entered as the college inj northampton forgot that bit ??????????????

anyway they had to arrange a tutor from milton keynes to run it on a saturday and sun day !!!
passed it in the end

did the design course this year and passed that just the dreaded 50 th is looming but keep on trucking to keep it clean.
