Discuss 2391 Course in the UK Electrical Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net

Hello,

I passed my 2330 and 17.1 edition exams in April. I'm struggling to find work as an electrician as the only work I've done with electrics is putting in lights, switches, washing machines at home and for friends (anyone know of any jobs going, let me know?).

A lot of jobs I've applied for, people have recommended doing the 2391 course. I've heard this is a very difficult course and I'd probably need some experience to have a chance of passing it.

Can anyone advise if this is correct or should I just go on the course?

Thanks

the 2391 is hard. but is now being split into 2 separate ones. think it might be 2394 and 2395. invloves a lot of testing knowledge. enquire at your local college.
