i actually sat and passed the december one. and tbh i found it easy. if i am completely honest i did no revision at all coming up to it as i had too much going on at uni. gn3 was pulle out the night before the exam i am ashamed to say. i think when you look through the past papers there is not really much difference between the scale of the questions they all seem to be the same level just some like the drawings whilst some like the calcs. i was a little disappointed cos i wanted to do an nice drawing for 15 points :D btw im not saying anyone should leave it till the night before to pull gn3 out :D

I think they did when i passed as my writing is shocking at the best of times under stress and feeling nervous it was getting worse as the exam went on lol

he must have good eye sight hehe
when i passed 39% passed 61% failed and in my class 4 of us out of 10 passed just glad i did revise lots as some of the answers where not in GN3
they are in other electrical books such as
memorandum of guidance on elecy at work regs
GS38
and practising writing test procedures in bullet points i found helped
the exam success is good for giving you a feel of how the questions will be worded
and past papers get you used to answering in the way they want also
i must say i enjoyed it looking back lol but not at the time when i was waiting to see if i passed

i liked the exam its just the waiting that gets you for the results. to be fair mine were through in about 4 weeks after it so thats a great turn over considering the weather post and christmas hols, so hats off to C&G and the examiners for doing it in record time :)
