So I just my practical Exam tonight which I failed the PIR Due to running out of time (I passed the other 3 assessments) but I didn't know how to do an R1+R2 test on a MICC cable so I lost too much time doing that (did it in the end like) But anyways the examiner said that even though I was very nervous (which I always am when im being watched under Exam Conditions for some strange reason lol) I was very competent in my ability to explain and do the tests I did know and is confident that I'll defo pass it so im booked in to do the 4th assesment again tomorrow night. So I got a few questions that I hep with .
Basically what do I put down on the PIR as the main switch/Circuit breaker as it's a PIR of a single phase CU with a 3 phase DB but there is a Isolator with a 20A BS-88 fuse in it ??
also what do I put down as the Overcurrent device on the schedule of Test results as I never got to finish the Paperwork in the Exam i just have written out a PIR and just need those 2 bits of info.
and Finally what is the proper way of doing the 10 step safe isolation as he said my way was very strange (L1-L2 L1-L3 L1-N L1-E L2-L3 L2-N L2-E L3-N L3- E N-E) ???
Thanks
