Hi, I have my 2391 practical tomorrow and need some urgent help! I am fine with everything except the phase sequence test. There is the 3-phase board, 3-phase isolator and then a 3-phase motor. What i'm not sure about is where to do the tests and is the installation live at this point? Usually when removing covers like eg. the motor cover it would need to be isolated and locked off so am just a bit confused. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'd be surprised if they asked you to do a phase sequence test mate.Never heard of any colleges owning a phase rotation meter either.

Best thing to do is ask the examiner before you start. He'll help you out.

How about O.S.G or guidance note 3
