A landlord requires a four story block of luxury flats to me inspected and tested to renew a letting licence from the local authority. The electrical installation forms part of a 400/230 V TN-C-S system with a Ze of 0.09 ohms and a PFC of 5.1KA.

State

1 The Type Of Inspection to be carried out (and it is Not Periodic Inspection report) 2 Marks

2. List, stating the total number in each case the documents to be completed following the inspection and testing.

3. State one item of information which should be made available to the inspector relating to the system of supply.

Question 1 is 'Periodic Inspection and test' not 'periodic inspection report'

Question 2 depends on the distribution to the flats, are they separate DNO supplies or all part of the same installation? Usually City & Guilds would say something like 'a four storey block of 8 luxury flats'

Question 3 could be the characteristics of the supply fuse

agree with iq on 1 and 2 which would tell you how many flats and if they are all supplied from a main DB with sub mains to seperate ccu in each flat
and 3 which could also be
earthing arrangments
number and type of live conductors of supply
nature of supply parameters
which includes
nominal voltage
nominal frequency
external earth fault loop impedence Ze
prospective fault current at the origin

Yes it is 8 apartments all + a landlords supply.

Wouldnt the answer for question 2 be .... Periodic inspection and test report , schedule of inspections and schedule of test results for each flat ??????

Each flat AND the landlords installation.

Remember the document is called a Periodic Inspection Report terminology is key for 2391 marks.
