2391 question

I recently took my 2391 exam and i had question that i only new 1 answer to.

Q If the fuse was in the neutral conductor what 2 things would happen.

A1 the fuse will not operate as there is no earth path.

Im un sure of what the other answer would be.

Any help would be much appreciated.

one i can think of is that in the event of a fault even if the fuse did blow the circuit would still have a live supply to it so very dangerous as it would only be the neutral thats been broken.

If there was a fault Line to earth, the fuse would not operate
