I know the answer to the following question but I dont know haw to word it in an exam paper.

Any suggestions please.

"During a periodic inspection a dangerous situation is discovered. State the action to be taken by the Inspector"

Something along the lines of...

"Rectify/make good if possible"

& key thing...

"Inform the client/person ordering work immediately, & in writing at the earliest opportunity"

Nowhere, unfortunately, does it tell us we can shut the installation down without express permission
