I am studying for my 2391 exam I have been reading through lots of past papers,I was wondering if any one could copy and paste the shortest acceptable answer the exam board would accept when asked : describe how you would carry out an insulation resistance test,an earth loop impedance test and an R1 ! R2 test.some of the previous answers seem very long winded and drawn out, would appreciate any help.

hi mate thats what they want quickest way is with bullet points and yes they are a bit long winded you can also use diagrams as well with a bit of a explanation
you have to try to explain it so the examinor could follow it if he was carrying out the test
just keep practicing writing them out in bullet points making sure you include all the necessary info
then try to reduce the number of words but still including all required info
there are loads of previous posts in regard to this do a search in the search bar
just make sure you call the testers by there proper name and include safe isolation if necessarry
checking leads and instrument working, nulling leads etc setting to appropriate setting etc

have you got exam success its no use me copying and pasting as my writing is shocking lol and i dont think you will be able to read it

i used 2 a4 pads with 200 pages writing them out over and over again as well as doing sample tests writing notes etc
the continuity of ring final circuit conductors is one of the ones they like to use a lot beacause of the 3 step and they can also ask you to include calculations also

GN3 has all the info just simplify the wording as much as you can but keep correct terminology etc

test procedures are normally worth around 15 marks eg 10%
