2391 simple question

I have my 2391 next week so its brush up time, going through a test paper question is

list correct sequence of first three tests of initial verification

there answer is
Continuity of C.P.C.
continuity of ring final circuit conductors
insulation resistance.

what about polarity?

Would it be better to say

Continuity of C.P.C. / continuity of ring final circuit conductors
insulation resistance.
polarity.


? just the general ambiguity of C&G but would be silly to drop a point on it.

Your first answer is nearly correct but the first one one that is:
Continuity of protective conductors ( covers all inc main and supp bonding)
continuity of ring final circuit conductors
insulation resistance
then polarity unless other tests are relevant, ( stick to GN3 like glue
as the exam is largely based on this)

Beware of the `trick` question below

What are the three stages (steps) in an RFC test
Answer Step1 end to end open loops
Step 2 as GN3
Step 3 as GN3

OR

What are the first three tests for an RFC
Answer
Continuity of cps
Insulation resistance
Polarity

I am presuming RFC = ring final circuit in which surely answering Continuity of cps instead of continuity of ring final circuit conductors would be wrong.

I am not understanding why that is a trick question if you wouldn't mind could you explain as first you said that

are the first 3 then for the trick you are saying

Continuity of cps
Insulation resistance
Polarity

are the first three, sorry if I am missing being daft.

I think the issue has been slightly confused.

I'm old skool when it comes to testing. So I stick to the C.R.I.P.P.L.E.R. method.

hello completely of the subject but have you by anychance just done your nvq 3? because i am struggling with mine and i cant find any one to help me ? my tutors a **** and has no time for me all im after is some sample questions and answers not to copy but to go off. i would be willing to pay for some samples many thanks gaz

looking back at original post, methinks that the point has been missed. the question posed was the correct sequence of the first 3 tests. op lists the 3 as answer, then says polarity. that is a fourth test and irrelevant to the first 3. when i say irrelevant, i mean that it follows on. irrevelant to the original question.
