I just thought I would suggest that we have a 2391 sub-forum as there are a lot of 2391 threads posted all around each section of the Forum so IMO having a dedicated 2391 Sub-forum would be beneficial to the Forum. as most people inquiring about the course or are on the Course and are just asking past paper/Exam questions just create a new thread instead of using the Search option again IMO. Plus it is the Holy Grail of Electrical Qualifications so deserves it's own spot on our forum.

Anyways just my 2 cents

There are a number of different exams people ask questions about so why limit it? I am interested in 2391 though

What I meant was - - open it so to give help to other electrical courses and not just 2391

There's also already one for courses.
Not that it matters much anyway seeing as when you click on "what's new?" you get all the new posts jumbled up together with the bizarre PV ones where they neglect to tell you they're talking about solar panels.

"Which is best, series or parallel?"
"WTF? Isn't that like asking which is better out of chalk and cheese? Oh, you're on about wiring up solar panels. I'll move along then."

Maybe it would work better if we kept the 'Courses/Training' section for discussing general training issues such as the rather popular 'what course do I need.....' question.

Then we could have an 'Exam Questions & Answers' section for specific exam related questions.
We can encourage posters to include the exam title in the question.

A learning and revision section could be beneficial because it would keep everything together and make it easier to find, but I don't see what kind of things would go in a dedicated 2391 subforum that couldn't go elsewhere.
I think the number of subforums should be kept to a minimum to stop things getting messy - the more subforums there are the greater the likelihood of something going in the wrong place.

i think a learning section and then we could maybe free up some stickie spaces at the top of the forums and keep all learning material in one place maybe making it easier to find

I agree with that. If possible it would be nice if the search function were 'better' - I've used it in the past and it took me ages to find what I was looking for.
