Hi,

Anyone got any good suggestions as to where I could take the 2391 course.

I would take it at the college where I'm studying my 2330, but they seem reluctant to let me do it as I've only just passed my level 2 and still have my level 3 to sit this coming year.

I'm going to have another go at them this week to see if I can enroll for the September course but if the answer is still no I might have to look elsewhere, so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I am not so concerned about the cost as much as I am about the quality of the teaching.
Like everyone else, I realise how difficult this course is and how low the pass rate has been, but I am determined to pass it - I'm really interested in the inspection and testing angle of the job!!:)

Cheers,

Wayne

Hi Mac,

Thanks for the reply but their entry requirements are actually worse than the college that I'm

at - they want 'working in the industry' (which I'm currently not) and '2330 L3' (which I start in

September) so not much good, I'm afraid.

I think I need one of the training centers - but a good one!!

Thanks again,

Wayne

Have you tried West Cheshire College at Capenhurst?

Hi Ian,

Just checked West Cheshire out.

They do the course but with the same entry qualifications as the college that I am at.

I'll have to see if I can persuade my college to enter me earlier - they know from this past year

whether I'm competent or not so I'll have a go at them when I go back in on Thursday.

Failing that, I may have to go see OLCI up in Bromborough there.:)

Thanks for your reply - Where about on the Wirral are you, by the way?
