I used the [ame="http://www.amazon.co.uk/City-Guilds-Exam-Success-Regulations/dp/0863418996/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1252591642&sr=8-1"]City and Guilds Exam Success: Inspection and Testing (IEE Wiring Regulations)[/ame] by Jonathan Elliott, it has 2 full sample exam papers with full talk through on answers and what the examiner is looking for, I found it a very helpful book, and the questions in it were very similar to what you might get when you take the exam

Good luck! The thing they drummed home with us is that you must get the wording correct or else they mark it as wrong, no good putting Minor Works, you must give it its full title Minor Electrical Installation Works Certificate and so on.
