hi,
has anybody done the c&g 2392 course as yet...... is it any good for an introduction to testing????

yes its good introduction for testing!! however 2391 is what you should aim for on completion!

I agree, get Guidance Note 3, get to know it very well and book a 2391 course, the 2392 might be of some benefit to you personally but I've yet to see a job vacancy asking for it.

Also get this book: Practical Guide to Inspection, Testing and Certification of Electrical Installations: Conforms to 17th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations BS 7671:2008 and Part P of Building Regulations: Amazon.co.uk: Christopher Kitcher: Books

I done it last year, now doing the 2391, excellent course, highly recommend it.

It gently eases you into 2391 territory, no matter how much you know, you WILL benefit from this course.

Iv heard brian scadden writes the questions for 2391 dont know if this is true or false,,,, he is from southampton an when i worked on the queen alex hospital in pompey the lads were all booking courses with him his pass rates are supposed to be very good ,, I bought the book for the 16th edd version of the 2391 and found it really helped on my 2391 test

I believe he wrote the exam up til around 18 months ago, you can see the change in the question style if you look at recent past papers.
