Dont be mislead or misinformed. The EAL and C&G Insp and test quals are now identical, the test rigs, practical assessments and everything else is also identical, and for both awarding bodies you have closed book exams, written and online, and GN3, OSG and the BGB have to be made available to candidates for reference on all practical assignments. It comes down to badge engineering, and C&G have the edge at the moment, but if they continue to be a pain in the arse with centres who deliver, then EAL will soon take the lead.

Cheers................Howard

Dont rush to dumb down EAL qualifications, they are the market leader in the engineering sector by a country mile. Ok City and Guilds do engineering as well, but they also have qualifications for hairdresser's, beauty therapists and so on. To be fair to EAL they do what they are excellent at, and leave the others to do everything else.

I was about to agree with this as its basically what I was thinking

While I agree with this last statement they appear to be contradictory
