Has anyone done the new 2394/95 practical and how does it compare too the old 2391?

I teach it, and it is more difficult. The 2394 is thee same as the old 2391, visual inspection board with no defects. Insulation resistance test rig, EFLI simulator. Full test rig no faults, you have to do a full test as per GN3. 2395 has non conformances in photo format, your assessor will select photos of his choice from the 20 available, using C&G guidelines, you have to identify the defects and code appropriately. Ins res test rig, EFLI simulator, and full test rig with 2 from any seven faults chosen by your assessor, you need to identify the faults (short circuit, open circuit, high resistance etc), the assessor will fix them, and then you carry on with the testing regime.

ENJOY......:wink5:

Cheers.............Howard
